The Tech Site is an internal worksite of Lionheart WORKS. This site offers opportunities to Lionheart WORKS participants who have an interest in technology. WORKS participants gain transferable technical skills that give them the ability and knowledge to perform specific tasks related to computer repair, simple programming, and more. The Tech Site offers support where needed and room to grow in a worksite setting. When our young adults launch into the work force, we want them to feel confident with their abilities and the skills they developed at the Tech Site.
The Tech Site relies on donated equipment that can be used for technical training including diagnostics, updates, and repairs. The ultimate result is refurbished equipment that can either be used out in the surrounding community or used within the WORKS program for additional training. The Tech Site accepts equipment in any condition. Commonly donated items include desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, cell phones, and tablets. If you would like to donate equipment or volunteer at the Tech Site, please contact our site coordinator.
